A Few Tips for Wedding Dress Shopping

The Dress…it’s the one thing you’ve been waiting your whole life to shop for, but let’s face it, it can be overwhelming. Here’s a few tips when shopping for your wedding dress:

🌺 Look through bridal magazines to get an idea of what you like. The process will be less overwhelming when you go shopping if you have an idea of what you want.

🌺 Don’t take too many people dress shopping with you. Opinions are great, but too many opinions will cause you to feel overwhelmed and cause you to overthink. At the end of the day, your dress is about what YOU like and what YOU feel comfortable wearing.

🌺 Limit the number of wedding dress boutiques you visit. Visiting more than 3 boutiques will leave you feeling overwhelmed by all the choices. Once you find your dream dress…STOP SHOPPING. If you find your dress at the first boutique you visit, it’s okay. There is no need to keep searching. Often times this will leave you crunched for time because you have to order your dress MONTHS before your wedding date and you have to account for any alterations.
